AMAZING A.R RAHMANN 'S STUDIO

Panchathan Record Inn is music director A. R. Rahman’s studio at Chennai, India. It is one of the best studios in India. This is said to be one of the best in the whole of Asia and houses equipment like the Euphonix System 5 Audio Mixing system. The studio has been designed by Studio 440 and the state of the art equipments are from Daxco Digital. His team includes Sound Engineers, H.Sridhar, S.Sivakumar & Aditya Modi, his manager Noell James, and Co-Ordinator Samidurai.
In 2005, A R Rahman built a new studio called A.M studio

This recording studio is interesting because of the flexibility it offers for music recording and film mixing, thanks to variable acoustics. The control room has a large bay window offering full view of the big screen in the mix stage. It applies a WHYSWG experience to the music directors.
The recording area, which doubles as a mix stage, can accommodate up to thirty musicians for large recordings. There are also two additional isolation booths with large glass sliding doors, offering easy viewing to and from the main recording area.
Most acoustical treatment was done using specially imported RPG diffusers, clouds and Maharam acoustically transparent fabrics, giving the facility a chic plain lines and a roomy feeling.

“Heard some songs in the music room. Congrats! The studio feels good. Alhamdulilla! I know you guys are going to tweak to get it perfect. Just wanted to let you know what I felt.”
- A.R. Rahman

The 3,000 square-foot recording studio in Chennai,  is the most comprehensive and equipped with latest technology in Asia. It took nearly three years to complete. The Acoustic Design & Architectural plans for the studios were made by Studio 440
A local Architectural and Construction Company in Chennai has been appointed to execute the project and to ensure that all construction is done according to Studio 440′s stringent plans and design. Studio 440 is overseeing the construction through site visits and correspondence together with DAXCO DIGITAL. Acoustic architects from CA, USA who have designed studios for Sony Music, Warner Brothers, just to name a few.
The two main rooms in the straight forward plan dovetail together in a complex section. Each is equipped with a console that sits atop raised platforms concealing cable troughs. A stepped window in the Control Room front wall offers clear sight lines to a screen in the adjacent Mix Stage/Tracking Room.
Designed with its own projection system and motorized blackout window shades, the Control Room can function independently of the stage. Mobile racks facilitate sharing of equipment. Visible from the Control Room, is booths lining one side of the stage have.
The Control Room is equipped with a 140 channel Euphonix System 5-M Digital Mixing Console with 2 cores . Having worked in several top studios in the UK , USA & Canada , Rahman had the opportunity to work with and evaluate all the large format consoles currently available in the market.
He decided to go for the Euphonix System 5 as it gives him the speed, power and flexibility that he needs for his work which ranges from Music Recording & Mixing to 5.1 Mixing . Another important factor for Rahman was that the System 5 supports 24-bit / 96KhZ operation which allows him to work in the highest quality digital environment and to be ready for DVD Audio. Recording will be done on the Euphonix 48-track 96kHz/ 24-bit R-1 Digital Audio Multi-track Recorder

5 free download websites

An extensive selection of free music downloads is the dream of any serious pop music fan. Unfortunately, legal downloading of most mainstream pop music requires purchasing the song in question. Many of the top sites offering music for purchase will offer an occasional song for free download, or you may pay a monthly subscription for a wide access to music. However, there are a number of web sites that promote lesser known pop artists or classic pop recordings by allowing free downloads of hundreds or thousands of songs. These are 5 of the best of these sites.

Jamendo opened its doors in 2005. It is based in Luxembourg but is a multilingual site accessible to users around the world. The music available is free to download and licensed through Creative Commons and Free Art licenses. Over 20,000 albums are available to download. The site incorporates tags and reviews to help find music. It also accepts donations to artists and has implemented a system to give 50% of advertising revenues to participating artists.

The Free Music Archive was launched in April 2009. The site was launched by Jersey City radio station WFMU, but personnel from additional radio stations and labels serve as curators for the music in the archive. The site describes itself as "a social music website built around a curated library of free, legal audio." The New York State Music Fund has assisted in financing the creation of the archive. The Free Music Archive also provides the opportunity to donate directly to compensate participating artists.

Amie Street was launched in 2006 and utilizes a unique approach to pricing music. Tracks frequently are offered on the site initially for free. As more users download the song, the price increases to purchase the track. Those who love hunting for new, buried treasures in music are richly rewarded with free music at Amie Street. However, those who wish to download the music preferred by their friends and peers do pay for the "curating" of other users. Amie Street has received strong support from establishment technology organizations and media in its effort to provide a new model for supporting and paying for quality music.

The Audio Archive is a sub-project of the Internet Archive, a project which aims to collect and make available archived "snapshots" of Internet content for access to researchers and the public in general. The Audio Archive is a collection that includes audio books, news broadcasts, and old time radio shows as well as music. The music collection numbers over 50,000 recordings all available for free download. Among the treasures included are live concert recordings of the Grateful Dead and Smashing Pumpkins.

CC Mixter is a social music site that encourages remixing to create new musical content. A key component of that mission is making available a library of over 10,000 samples that can be freely downloaded and then used, with tools made available on the site, to create entirely new musical compositions.

katrina glamour's bio data:

Born on July 16, 1984 Katrina Kaif is one of eight siblings, all girls, from a mother who is a Caucasian of British Nationality, and a father who was formerly from Kashmir, India, but who has since acquired British citizenship.
Katrina grew up in Hawaii, but was brought up in London, UK. She started modeling accidentally when she was in Hawaii at the tender age of 14, when she was approached for a jewelery campaign. Thereafter she continued modeling in London.

Continuing to model was the reason she got her break in a Bollywood movie "Boom" offered by none other than film-maker Kaizad Gustad.
She was flooded with modeling assignments the minute she set her foot on Indian soil, especially with her innocent expressive face, hour-glass figure, and drop-dead gorgeous looks
